Margit is a fine art landscape, nature, travel and people photographer, born and raised in Germany.

She has many years of experience in social educational work, in youth projects, in working with "problem adolescents" and with young adults, which helps her to show the sensitivity in her work.

In 2001 she turned her passion for photography into a second career.

She graduated from the Lazi Academy in Esslingen, Germany with honors.

For the past fifteen years, Professional Photographer Margit Haegele has traveled to remote destinations all over the world to continue to inspire her artistic photography. She has acquired an immense variate of photography from people, cities, cultures and landscapes. (Italy, France, former Yugoslavia, England, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Czechoslovakia, North Africa, Madagascar, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the USA. Margit lived a total of 1 Year in Madagascar, 3 month in New Zealand, 6 month in Australia, and for the last 12 Years she has been traveling through the United States. Most of her time she spends now between Dallas TX and San Francisco California

Margit previously shot with a 35mm, but now she shoots exclusively in digital format due to the outstanding quality it provides, She is a artist in post production, retouch and digital processing, creating exhibit quality prints and posters.
Her freelance Photography and projects have been /are displayed in various exhibits. She works now also as a freelance photojournalist for German newspapers and magazines.
